Sorrow
They are addictive. One finishes one tasks and the just games throw more tasks to do. Constant tension and stimulation.tactical mission, base research patrols manufacturing buying detection interception, tactical mission, base research patrols manufacturing buying detection interception, tactical mission, base research patrols manufacturing buying detection interception. X-Com is evil. I'm considering deleting it from my HDD.

Probotector
I'm building a new computer (Actually just using old parts) just so I can play my original copies and so I can play Master or Orion 2 as well. So yeah I'm still addicted after not playing it for about 3 years. Edited May 3, 2011 by Probotector
Sorrow
From what I've seen, the first two games aren't as bad as X-Com3 as they have much lesser density of events.

Sorrow
I decided to try limiting my time spent on X-Com3 to 30 minutes a day. Today, I managed to do only one tactical mission and re-equip my agents and send them to alien alert. I have lost 4 agents to hyperworms. 3 got killed in one turn . I'm not sure if the game is playable this way. I don't feel satisfied, I feel that I want to do more.
greep
No trouble here. I'm not addicted. I can stop any time I want. Any time at all. *twitches involuntarily* - NKF Sounds like part of a PSA Could you imagine what an xcom PSA would be like? "Is your loved one afraid of turning a corner for fear of being zombif... wait what? this is stupid. I'm not reading this. EWW this next line is just GROSS..." "CUT!"
