Is this a bug or what?

Allright, so you know how you can delete/add new units to the battlefield in X-COM Hack? I deleted a few units -changed unit type to "nothing", that is- and added a few units - filling in the stats, naming them, changing unit type to something. I never encounterd the units I had put in myself, and the units I thought I had deleted showed up later on but were invisible. Which was very annoying - I had to drag my cursor over the area before it went yellow to find the unit. Anyway, so does this happen to anyone else? Is there any way to fix it? Sorry for being a noob and all that :<
