  1. I can't believe so many people hate the apartments! o_o; That's one of my favorites! To me it's always fun to do an urban challenge like that, of clearing room upon room, floor by floor. Kinda like a SWAT team, almost.
  2. Yes, but... in TFTD, the four things are Blonde, Brown hair, BALD, and Black, for the males. I don't see Asian in there. EDIT: Alright, here's what I've got for the editor from Jenny. If editing TFTD's soldier files with it, here's what you get by selecting the following items: Males: "Blonde" gives you a white blonde. "Brown" gives you someone who's black. "Asian" gives you someone with white skin, brown hair. "Black" gives you someone who's white and bald. Females: "Blonde" gives you a tomboyish blonde girl with a red headband. "Brown" gives you another blonde. THIS one will have short hair that goes down the sides of her head. "Asian" gives you a black brunette with short hair. "Black" gives you a white brunette with a ponytail. I suppose I never realized there were two options to give you a blonde female in TFTD. xD I almost never end up with females on the team playing the game normally.
  3. It works! However, it seems that "blonde" is the only option that stays correct when adjusting appearance type. "Black" and "Asian" seem to be mixed up. xD Ah well, can't have everything. (Also, it turned out that JL Enterprises' editor made EVERYONE on my team black when I imported them.) In any case, thanks so much!
  4. So in TFTD... using that savegame-altering program by JL Enterprises, I've imported my guys from XCom 1. There's a problem; Danielle Dreyfus is a MAN now! D: African-American still, but a GUY now! Is there an editing program that'll let me change the gender of my aquanauts? I can't seem to find any.
  5. Is that an AUG on the bottom of the second image? =o I love that gun! That must be the stripped down version without the sight mounted on it.
  6. These are looking good... but I couldn't help but notice that the selected unit in the screenshots was "Sdkfz I". Wasn't that a German military vehicle? Where could I find that? o.o
  7. I was searching google for x-com images and found this article! http://www.missouribusiness.net/success/xcom.asp It's a lie! It's gotta be a front for an anti-alien combat unit! There's aliens trying to invade Earth! XDDDDDDDD
  8. This guy really outdid himself... best Standoff music EVER! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4i2zewRl9k
  9. Human, Marsec Armor, Devastator Cannon, Medikit, Motion Scanner. And a pair of Stun Grenades for good measure.
  10. Although oddly enough, some of the aliens, and any human foes don't seem to know where you are. This makes stealth a realistic possibility, especially when combined with the lying prone stance. Sometimes it's even more fun when doing this in RT. It's instant... like I said, I use high explosive ammunition on a Multi to kill the Hypers in the explosion.
  11. Yeah. And the fact that they seem to know where you are, even if you took cover, and even if they haven't spotted you yet. ...I think they prefer the Disruption Beam Diet. XD But no matter what ammunition type you use, unless it's Explosive with a high enough Firepower stat, you're gonna have to deal with four Hyperworms, which the Multiworm gives birth to upon death. If you kill it with, say, a Marsec MiniLauncher, you'll kill them in the explosion just as they're being born. Another solution is, in TB mode, having a whole squad surround the Multiworm, then kill it. If you're close enough, fewer Hyperworms will be born. What few Hyperworms ARE born, just pay attention to the direction they face in. Each time you try to shoot one, they'll turn towards that Agent, and you have the Agent now behind them shoot a Hyperworm, and you go back and forth till they're all dead. XD It works well for me. In TB or RT, having a Personal Disruption Shield on each of your Agents will be a BIG help to defend against the Hyperworms. While they're trying to chew through it, you'll be killing them with only one or two shots. (One in my case, since I equip all my Agents with Devastator Cannons.) And as far as Brainsuckers, I think I recall something... I can't confirm it right now as I type this, but I think they won't jump on you if you're lying prone. But if you're doing TB, you need to conserve like 14 TU's so you can do it. Some Agents require only 10 TU's, but the cost varies. The highest cost I've found is 14. Move your mouse over the Crawl icon and the Tooltip caption will tell you the cost. As for the Hyperworms, there's no real way to
  12. Really? I find that my guys get wounded or killed a lot more easily in RT... it's nice, and makes it more realistic, but they improved the Time Units system since xcom 1 and 2. I no longer have to worry about spending nearly all my TU's on ONE Aimed Shot. I can now make 3 or 4. And the fact that Auto Shot now fires only one shot at a time and costs so little TU's than before means it's a nice thing to make use of too. And with the ability to Run, things are easier on my TU's as well, at least until I run out of Stamina. XD Don't get me wrong though. RT does have advantages for me. It makes dual-wielding a true possibility, in that both weapons can be fired constantly and without TU's to burn. But I personally find TB to be much easier for killing Brainsuckers, Poppers and Hyperworms. And definitely Multiworms. If you hide in the right spot and actually TAKE COVER, as common sense would require, then the outcome is more often than not, much better as far as avoiding and eliminating said aliens. Plus, if you go airborne with the Marsec Body Unit, you don't have to worry about getting brainsucked or a Popper getting too close to you.
  13. I've been getting back into the game... I've been sending mostly six of my prize Agents. Sergeant Maria White is my best one. Her Accuracy is VERY high, at about 79. When I got her as one of my starting Agents, it was only like 26. She's improved a lot. And her Max Health has improved tons as well. ^^ Anyway, back to the point... I send 6 veterans in, but sometimes I let a couple Rookies tag along for the ride. There have been quite a few Hybrids in the recruiting list lately, and I've been sticking with getting some of them. Their growth rate is slower, but I'm all for bringing up their stats anyhow! ^^
  14. I'll be honest... I didn't pay a cent for mine. And no, I'm not telling you how come or where I got it from.
  15. Hmmmm... wow. I finally got a message from someone on here, and an email notification in my email about it, and I come back to find it's a spammer... well, whatever. I'm back folks. XD (Since we've reached a moot point..... lockies? XD )
