  1. Greetings to all friends of old If you need anything updated in the github repository kindly nudge me there and I'll update it. PX was a great opportunity to practice a wide spectrum of skills, and especially community management. Also that being agile and focusing on quick deliverables is worth it in the end, keeps momentum. For the gameplay nostalgia, SupSuper with OpenXCom has done more than a marvelous work . I missed the opportunity to dive in early there code-wise If you want to catch up anytime, feel free: https://twitter.com/basanas . Thomas, we've already networked
  2. http://www.dropbox.com/ ? http://www.mediafire.com/ ? The minecraft world file should be too large, usually it's less than 8-15MB large.
  3. Very interesting!!! Downloading now, although it'll be some time before I check it out. Thank you very much for sharing, Gurluas!!!!
  4. http://www.gameranx.com/updates/id/2761/ar...per-commentary/ C'mon guys, it's not an XCOM strategy game, but it seems that it's a well-made FPS. Probably not too linear, also.

    XCOM crafts

I like the avenger Will you texture them sometime?
  7. Best of luck to your endeavours, I'll try to get my hands on a copy when your work is complete!
  8. Can't wait to get my hands on it!!!! Very interesting indeed. So, it's a D100 system. Any more information (except from the char sheets) that you could share? Where (geographically, website etc) will you focus your promotion on?
  9. Don't forget the XCOM reboot and the in-the-making Xenonauts games, they will definitely attract some traffic here. But please, don't purge/delete the UFO2K and Xenocide forums!!! There is a lot of conversation, ideas and reading material included there, and it's an excellent resource for wannabe developers (you can see the whole development timeline, where/when problems spawned, how decisions where taken, etc). If you want, we could try to optimize some assets or free some space from the FTP server, whatever "wastes" the most space and/or bandwidth. But complete project deletion should be out of the question . In addition, however slim, there's always the chance of reboot edit: Guys, now that the project is practically dead on the waters and there are no project leaders active except from our dear Mad, could you open access (at least give Read Access) to the Top Floor?
  10. I did not talk about a "3-way-merge" kind of merge. Ok, use the word "port" if you prefer.
  11. hihihi! Best of luck to all xcom projects!
  12. Easier said than done. You can't *just* merge Xenocide's c# (or even the old c++) codebase with UFO:AI's C codebase. Use ideas from both? Yes you can. BUT, which ones will the developers agree upon? ... And more points we could talk/disagree/discuss upon, but it would be no help. This issue has already been discussed at least twice, and each time either it was decided that the changes would be overwhelming, or the developers didn't agree on losing some/most of their work or being "forced" to redo some stuff.
