  1. I just looked into it, the model was flat shaded so the program showed the edges. Yes, I am back, just in time for school to start. :crying: Bad news is, no naked women to take pictures of, Sorry Breunor. I also did not have control either of the camera while in port But my alien power must still be intact, as I thought deeply for them to take pictures of buildings, and they did. They are still down south with the cameras, so when they return I will get my hands on them.

  3. I am heading into the carribean next (leaving friday). Is there anything I should keep my eye out for that could be used for reference pics like buildings. I will be in Belize City, Roatan, Cozumel and Cancun. I will not go looking for certain things, but if I come across them, I might take a picture. I must ask, what do you mean by "swim" for the texture. garbagebin.zip
  4. Just to give you a heads up, you may want to look at the alien guns thread before making that design mikker. Woops, tottaly forgot about that (had the file stocked up as an alien granade design somewhere...). Hey, what about we use both? I'll find something diffrent for my design and use it for the small bomb, and you can use yours for the blaster bomb Which design? I posted like 7. The football shape was thrown and a frisbee design was suggested, but the topic died. This late in my vacation, I don't think I would have any design done before school starts again.
  5. That never ending to do list, better get to work on mine. :crying: I have no problem with mikker doing the BB, but I already tried a similar design. Sorry I didn't mention it sooner mikker when I first saw it.

  7. This will probably be the last one, I need to start finishing the meshes and convert the textures to .png files. This is another trash can . I don't have a program that will let me make part of the mesh trasparent so I can utilize the alpha channel feature. This is similar to what I have seen on Law and Order when they are digging in the trash for clues in the city. I think it is also similar in design to one in the in the game. 24 polys
  8. This is the only brown paper texture I have.
  9. The poly count on this was higher than I expected so it might not work. 130 is what I count, 98 if it is "strategically" placed. It is the wood paletes (sp?) that fork lifts use to pick up things. The design may be wrong, been a while since I have seen one.
  10. I didn't see this style of street lights anywhere, might have just missed them though. The ones on the ends have a poly count in the 70's IIRC, the middle one is around 130. I typically see the middle one in parking lots around here or on roads that have a center divide. The wood one usually seen out in the rural area. The left one is just used anywhere.
  11. Okay, I will model some trash for the waste basket, here are some other things. Another trash container. This is similar to one I see on campus, not as nice looking as this, but similar design.
  12. The one I made was more flat on the ends than the one I am seeing in this thread if that is the one you are refering to. (it is supposed to be a plastic hazardous waste container, maybe 6ft long and stored in warehouses). The camera view pobably will not make a visible difference. How should I add garabge, texture or model?
  13. So four blocks of c-4 or stick with two? Edit: Forgot the 118 is four pieces, nevermind.
  14. An industrial container. Don't remember the poly count and I forgot to save it, so I will have to remake it, again.
  15. a rusted metal waste basket, I assumed that the camera will not make it possible to look in the can so there is no bottom, 16 polys.
