I'll also say that it might be an idea to look at explosion hit locations. At the moment, they always hit the underneath. It should, unless you're within one tile of the centre, lit you on whatever exposed side you have to the centre. -Angry Lawyer
This thread has more lawyers per square inch than any other. If no code is shared, and the geoscape texture is changed, we're in the all clear, I take it? Well, at least with Xenocide. -Angry Lawyer
Crikey, Serge, you know more about law then I do! D: Would not the best idea be to use a different texture? For starters, the current seems a little too detailed to discern differences in the ground. -Angry Lawyer
Actually, as far as I can tell, Serge is right. I thought it was a bug at first, but then I looked closely and it turned out my small launcher was doing exactly what Serge described. -Angry Lawyer
Quiver of arrows, as a clip, is your best bet. I think it'd be a really good idea if you focused on melee weapons for the set, and made ranged, magical ones, overpriced for what they do. It'd encourage people to go toe-to-toe with their units, rather than the game play as just standard X-Com with medieval graphics. -Angry Lawyer
Perfect, that should make terror units a lot easier to make true to the game. On topic: They're terror units, and should stay that way. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong -Angry Lawyer
Couldn't have said it better. What makes Calcinites unique is the fact that they're an efficient dedicated melee unit. Allowing them access to weapons would make them simply a slightly off-colour diver. Chmmr, where did you get your information from, anyways? It could come really in handy for when I get around to doing the Terror Units. -Angry Lawyer
The only way I'd see it getting implemented is if it only existed on certain weapons, like a flag you set in the LUA file. Still, it's MEGA overpowered, along the lines of having an explosive attachment on the plasma rifle. -Angry Lawyer
Woah, reading through all these LUA bits has taught me that I'm really not that good at programming compared to you Thanks for the guidance, although the LUAing of the units might take longer than expected. -Angry Lawyer
Thanks, that's a step in the right direction. My initial bets are with line 482, the *F function, but I've yet to work out quite how it works. And Kratos, I'm sure I owe you a beating with some Floaters -Angry Lawyer
