just a heads up to all mac owners,i downloaded parallels for mac,loaded up the collectors edition and installed only enemy unknown.well to my great surprise [i've been trying to get the xcom games working on a mac for years,couldn't get to grips with dosbox] it started up,albeit incredibly sloooww.oh and no sound.but its a start anyway.so any wizards out there fancy tinkering around with it,please give it a go,thanks.

i've got it running on w me,but i couldn't help but notice you mentioning a joypad.i am desperatly looking for a serious reccomendation for a really good joystick/pad to use with this game,please help,thanks ps: i am playing on a laptop[ don't know if this makes any difference}

hi all,am playing xcom1 on laptop with windows me,everythings fine until my base was invaded,after a couple of turns the screen jumps back to windows desktop,please help.i have only just started playing on a laptop,i played xcom 1 and 2 on ps2,so my knowledge of pc's and windows is limited.i am using the xcom collection cd.thanks

hi all,i am about to embark on playing xcom4 for the 1st time [can't wait!].i have been playing the 1st 2 games for years.now,i'm going to play it on a ibm thinkpad 380xd,but i really want to get the best joystick for this game,i'll probably have to get it on ebay,looking forward to hearing your advice,thanks
