ICC compatibility:
- change class::enum_type::enum_value  ->  class::enum_value
- change "<::"  to  "< ::" because "<:" = "[" in GCC and ICC
- move BOOST_CLASS_EXPORT_GUID to the cpp files to eliminate duplicate symbol warnings.
- declare static variables outside of class to make them visible.
- fix some typename/typedef stuff.
- fix includes in common/types.h
- add OgreString.h include in common/types.h. stl doesn't have hash function implementation for strings.
- fix upper/lower case mistakes in includes.
- move SettingUpdater to public-used in core/simulation/simulation.cpp
- unified some virtual functions (check with this and without - no difference)
- linux specific (inside an ifdef) use of runtime_exception instead of exception in launcher.cpp. exception doesn't accept messages.
- linux specific (inside an ifdef) setting of path in launcher.cpp
- hiding a "using namespace boost" in client/geoscape/globeline.h - multiple definitions.

further changes for GCC compatibility:
- refactor settings.h templates
- prepend & to function pointers
- fix implicit typenames
- comment out all redefinitions of ms_Singleton (caused by templated external definition, see ICC compatibility patch)
- declare EntityBase as BOOST_IS_ABSTRACT
- add non-existing <namespace>:: (???)
- add XERCES_CPP_NAMESPACE_USE where appropriate (core/staticdata/planetdata.h)
- change variables to references. fixes passing XmlChPtr by value (no copy-constructor)
- change ::String() to "". For some reason GCC doesn't like ::String()
- add function connectStubs to uimanager.cpp. This sets up stub functions for all signals without a defined function for preSignal or eventSignal. Fixes GCC undefined symbols
- fix segmentation fault caused by the destruction of a registerSetting struct (happened on quit only)
- fix const casts
- fix gcc crying about static being after const, no empty line at eof

Manual case changes to be done by someone with svn access:
- xenogame/data/textures/BVT_door.png is referred to as BVT_DOOR.PNG in xenogame/data/materials/*. Change one or the other.
