Guest stewart
I wonder if there is a way to make the Terror missions more logical?

Guest stewart
Well we chould find a reason why the monsters are even in the street at all (when the UFO could just blast the city), and why the Terrorship is nowhere to be found.

They want to push the country's government to join them but they don't want to push them too much to the point that the country would never consider joining them. Terrorist mission are about terrorizing and not about destroying. Besides if you destroy all those citizens then there won't be no witnesses to be on TV talking about how scarey it was. So it would be more depersonalized. Besides maybe the aliens want to keep the buildings intact.

Although I suppose you could say that since civilians are unarmed, terror missions are really training missions, where the aliens can boost there soldiers stats with little peril (unless XCOM has the guts to show-up, of course). gangsta
It doesn't really matter It's just a part of the game that makes it fun for some players. I love terror zones wish there were more of em. then again I hear some people skip em all together

[dipstick]
I agree that there should be a XCOM V Alien multiplayer mode. Why not make the aliens like XCOM? Start them off with a base and XYZ like XCOM? Then they might have a similar research structure etc to XCOM. Also you could even play the Aliens in single-player v the computer. Another idea: XCOM v XCOM?? Why not? Two bases, two players, two scores. You would have to compete against the opponent to get a higher score. Maybe could even attack them (industrial espionage gone crazy!) and gain from that as well? In all cases, you could limit base attacks to one per month or something after a certain time limit eg 6 months or a year??
ATeX
What about adding something like a First Person Shooter for MultiPlayer? I know it's a totally new project. But it will certainly be fun!!! (cfr. Counterstrike)
