  1. Well i have a pretty good idea how to make geoscape part of the game playable, with one team of players playing xcom and the other aliens, but the thing is im only good at Pascal and Visual Basic, my expirience in C++ is limited (i understand object programing, and all but i'm poor with C++ syntax). anyway i could give it a try, or if you fell like doing the actual hard work i can send you my ideas in sort of a pseudo code well, i can always check out c++ for dummies
  2. well i don't use a firewall, at least not while a play anything but i do connect over a servers internet connection, through NAT. could that cause problems? my connection was poor yesterday though
  3. I had some problems conecting to the server, and then actualy playing. i tried to play a couple of games but in the middle of them i got lagged out, so i would like to apologize to people who were playing with me. anyone knows why does it happen? i use the stable version from the site.

  5. here are a couple of ideas for weapons. fusion suicide: you can't unequip or throw it, and i takes up both hand spaces. if you die it blows up most of the surrounding area (and everyone in it). technicaly, that soldier can't do anything except run arround waiting to be killed. stun proximity grenade: the name sais it katana: a nasty meele two-hander flashbang: blindes anyone looking towards it (can it be done? i mean it would be like having that soldiers visibility range down to 0) portable wall: you drop it somewhere and get a handy cover, should be really heavy teleporter: where you fire it, there you are any of it worthwhile making?
