Thanks, it answers the scoring part. It doesn't mention a negative score for ignoring crash sites (except terror sites of course). Does ignoring them affect the gameplay though, like maybe the aliens would survive and automatically infiltrate the country, etc.
I just replayed July twice (from July 8th) and each time I ended up losing the US, even though each time I shot down the battleships on infiltration missions (an alien base would suddenly appear after that). Maybe an infilgrator got through near the beginning of the month. Oh well, I'm giving up on that country. Does it matter if you lose all countries as long as you have a positive score and money?
Does shooting down UFOs by aircraft add to the score? I only read that there's no score for destroying UFOs during a base defense. Does anything bad happen if you ignore the crash site without visiting it?
What are the exact conditions that make a country stop paying X-Com? I destroyed the alien base but at the end of the month they still withdrew from the project.
I see that thousands of users have joined since I first saw this site. Being greedy, I'm hoping for a playable beta before 2010. Otherwise 2020 would be fine too, haha...
Does the Windows collector's edition version of X-com have the difficulty bug, or has that been fixed? What are the differences between difficulty levels anyway?
