So basicly an way to add realism AND tell your opponent your next move?

There actually is couple map types that I think would fit into WH 40k perfectly, creating sort of an Space Hulkish feeling. And most of the laser & plasma weapons would fit into the WH 40k pretty well. So I think somone needs to make a) weapon set with good weapons (all but chain swords and stuff like that already exists) b ) couple new skins (terminator and regular power armour. Soldier skin would be perfect for guardmen except it is too tough) c) Chrysalids----->Genestealers d) Add some cool music to greate proper atmosphere... and here it is: higly unofficial Space Hulk mod. Ofcourse someone could make Tau, Eldar and guys like that, but I really don't care about them.

That would be cool.... (my teams are usually like this: a) 2 sergeants (myself and some random brother about 6 battle brothers c) rest are guardmen (with crappy armour and weapons, naturally) ) But anyhow, I really hope someone with the skills could make proper power armour & terminator armour skins. And genestealers (who would be something similiar to chrysalids, but faaaaaaaaster and uglier) Man that would be cool...

Just download older version where the replays work (They actually work?) As for the clip bug, I think you could have fully armed about dozen of teams before someone would answer to your post with an solution on side note: I have never had problem with any clips disappearing from any characters...

That's a pretty neat little house, actually. I like it. me too, I wouldn't mind living in something like that IRL And the tileset is very cool too.

Sorry for going off-topic, but since the server & its stats page are down, I can't look into it myself... Anyhow, What weapon sets are currently "in" in UFO2k? Would help me make sure that I actually have the weapon set before starting a game...

Or maybe an FPS? The problem with game like this is that the AI needs to be awesome, but still not too tough for new players (Maybe something based on games/wins/loses ratio?). So that I wont lose all my bases when I'm sleeping. I also disagree with whoever said that aliens should be AI only, but I think it could be a start...

yeah, nice prank... It's only that when I first saw it, it was 4th of april already... So obviously I though that this is awesome and downloaded it instatly. Needless to say, it wasn't funny when I found out. So could you please add notification to http://ufo2000.sourceforge.net/ about it? or delete it completely.

I think this thread should be cleaned, that's because when I added everyone, only like 5 of them stil played the game...And that was months ago! as for myself, I think I'll start actively playing again

I think that your suggestion is pretty good actually. Only that there is not planet for everyone, only like 20-30 for each sides(depends on the amount of the players). The player can choose his first base location from any of the planets that are controlled by his race(x-com/aliens) But if he wants another base, then he must send a colony ship or something there (you could build a base to enemy planets, but...well, that is veeeery risky) So, what do you think?

Not everybody runs Windows, and those that do might want to take more than one screenshot without having to quit/minimize their game. Okay, seems reasonable, but why would someone want to take 2 or more screenshots from game statics?

Ummm...is is just me, or is there no music files at all? EDIT: I copyed them from older version... EDIT2: And right after that i overwrittened them with some Iron Maiden songs (loosing al the time don't feel that bad when you have Iron Maiden playing on the background)
